I Introduction
Over the years I've helped thousands
of businesses reach, and then exceed, their potential. I've helped thousands of
business owners make their dreams come true. In each and every instance it's been
achieved by applying a set of core principles that anyone can use. And these
principles will very quickly make your business flourish, even when times are
bad.
This is a book about
getting results above and beyond the ordinary, and yet it's a simple book.
You'll be literally amazed at the simplicity with which you'll be able to work
and add many tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, or even tens of millions
to your turnover and profit just by finding and working on what I call your
business gold mines.
It doesn't matter
whether you sell paper clips or airplanes, the ideas and stories you're about
to be exposed to will revolutionize the way you view, and practice, your
profession. So get ready for a radical transformation.
So, what makes me an
expert? Where do I get off telling people how to run their businesses? I know
it's a hackneyed term, but the runs are on the board.
From running more than a dozen of my
own companies to listening to a bunch of business masters, watching what people
do right, wrong, and indifferently, reading every piece of material available,
and then, analyzing, testing and measuring, working with thousands of clients,
and taking my own businesses global, I've managed to pinpoint the ways to
catapult your bottom line.
That was the first
step. The second and much more difficult step was putting it in terms that
everyone can understand. Having used the knowledge for great personal reward, I
now want to spread the message through this book.
This means distilling
the information so you can easily grasp it. And that's what this book is all
about. It's about people like you taking my knowledge, having me coach you,
applying it to your own business, and then enjoying the same rewards that I
have.
I know you can do it-I've literally seen it done thousands of times.
